Wave guides
Wave guides are used to protect and guide rotating waves and to prevent foreign bodies from damaging the shaft. There are two main types of wave guides: linear and rotating. In the case of linear wave guides, bearings or sockets are used to keep the wave in their place, while in rotating wave guides a variety of methods such as fit springs, adjusting screws or press jackets are used to protect the wave from movements.
Several factors must be taken into account when choosing the correct waves for your application. This includes the type of load on the wave, the speed of the wave and the surrounding area in which the leadership is used.
Wave guides are usually made from metals such as steel.
